vibating on idle (pic of engine mount)

hey right i was driving earlier and had been over some speed bumps small ones and only go over them at about 5mph as i know there rough horible ones and my car can catch sometime.
so basicly went over them and drove about 2-3 miles but when i started to brake it started vibrating the car. now it only really vibrates in idle and goes as soon as i rev the engine but as the revs die down from 2k-1k its shuders the car again the steering wheel and the pedals is vibrating afair bit from this but its fine when im acelerating.
i had a search and decided to have a look at the exhuast incase it was touching the bottom of my car but no luck doesnt seem to be touching i had a look at the engine mount on the left side and im not entirely sure if its that could someone possibly get a picture of theres just so i can decide if it might be that all bolts look fine though.
if anyone has any ideas or just a picture of the left engine mount it would be much appreciated thanks

im pretty sure by looking at this that its dropped but im not 100 percent sure if it is this anyone know if its okay to drive and how easy it is to change thanks

almost definatly the left engine mount, mine broke about 2 weeks ago. you will have to remove the mount completly to get to the bolt that shears.. t40 iirc

undo the two bolts, on the top of the mount. not the three just the two, if you can lift the top of the mount off its buggered and is using the other part of the mount to hold the engine. its almost the same as solid engine mount,

if it does lift get a new one quick, car will feel so much better

i have been through 5 mounts bolts keep snapping

btw i wouldnt drive it, not unsafe just not clever

nope well it needs to be driven but im taking it easy and not driving unless i need to. is it a simple job and do i only need to replace a bolt then? does the picture not show if its gone or not?

The picture shows that its snapped (cant be 100% certain though) as said above you need to remove the 2 small bolts holding the top of the mount on, if you can lift it straight out then its snapped, you need a new mount not just a new bolt. and i would not be driving it if it was mine. peice of piss to change, 20mins at the most.

okay mate how much is a mount do you know
  9. #9
Wouldn't need to replace the mount as all that's happened is the bolt going through the middle has sheared
