What is this? - Fuel filter?

   What is this? On the underside of the chassis on the passenger’s side - Fuel filter? It's loose, and just rattling around back there (I assume it will rattle, haven't driven it yet to find out), is it meant to be secured?

   yep thats the fuel filter.
   
   Should have a plastic strap around it. cable tie will do though.
