how many pistons do vtr calipers have?

    as above really just wanted to find out as i thought they had 2. and are vtr calipers bendix type?

    ok and the site im getting them off say that the max disc thickness is 10mm surly that isnt right is it? they are bendix calipers

    ok but how comes they say the max disc thickness is 10mm there bendix type calipers but they say that the max thickness on all the saxo calipers they are selling is 10mm could that just be a mistake as the discs i looked at were 20.5mm

    vtr/s calipers are ATE not bendix, and use a 20mm thick disc (ish) and have a single large piston

    VT ATE type calipers take 20.5 mm vented discs, the 1.1 calipers use solid 10mm discs (non vented)

    Oh and RE the ebay link: that is for the VT models - you'd need to get a pair as yours if standard are completly different. You can pick up a second hand pair of VT calipers for about £40 and convert your brakes to vt ones.
