what are the advantages of a quickshift?

   Dont say "its quicker"
   
   Just wondering as i was thinking of getting one
   
   It just lowers the movement in the gear stick i beleive?
   
   but how does it actually do it? how does it work?
   
   and is a shorter distance between gears the only effect?

   Alot more comfortable shifting, and if you get a GE quickshift very easy to fit and cheap.

   yep just fitted a ge 1 mate its miles better and iv ordered upgraded linkages which should make the gearstick much tighter

   Must admit, I've always been curious as to how they improve the shifting experience, as a fair few people seem to have them. Whats involved in fitting them?
