Lift carpet on passenger side footwell, 2 nuts under a little flap to undo (17 or 18mm iirc). Under car remove balljoint pinch bolt
Also take out the nut and bolt that goes through the front arm mount (size not sure on but you will need a socket and spanner to stop it spinning while removing it).*Best to wire brush it off and soak in wd40 first really.*

The 1.1 style antil roll bar is connected by a bush directly to the arm so as you say you might have a lower spec arm check this out.

Refitting of the arm can be difficult and some force may be needed and assistance from a friend would be helpful although you can do it on your own tbf.

you got a pic? as the VT ARB shouldnt fit with a flat style lower arm

It's way thiker than my other 1 which is the correct 1. But I've got the correct. Tubular type now and I will be fitting it later

Flat is the base spec, the more rounded shape "tubular" as you say is the VTR/S Furio one. The ARB on VTR/S Furio connect to the strut via a drop link.

My passenger side is thicker and is touching the drop link when I turn slowly, it has about 2 inches less clearance then my drivers side lower arm so I'm just going to swap the lower arm from the passenger side for one that is the tublar Sam style As my drivers side see if that does the trick
