   dont know if its true but are they mk1 vtr black top engines any rarer then the sliver top?

   they are very rare mate only in some 97/98 vtr then the silvertops came from 98-2003/4

   Tom, you have loads? lol, if so what you willing to sell at? The ones you got are they the ones with stiffer springs and solid lifters?
