Gear Linkages

   Anybody know where i can buy a mk2 VTR gear linkage set from? Im really after the main rob with the bush but i dont mind paying for the selector rods if it's a set. Thanks!

   In the attached diagram:
   
   4) 04 SELECTION LINK Citroen part: 2452 E1 = £15.24 inc VAT
   5) 05 GEARSHIFT LINK Citroen part: 2452 83 = £13.94 inc VAT
   
   Give Citroen a call, give them your VIN number and or registration number to make sure they order the right parts for your car. Check if you need two of 4) if you decide to buy these too.
   
   With luck they'll be at your nearest Citroen garage Saturday morning.

   You know where 2 goes into 1? The ball has broken off, so there isnt a proper connection, does this mean i'm going to have to order both parts 1&2? At the moment while it's in gear, it feels like im stirring a bowl of soup, lol. Thanks!!!

   Ok, you should only need 2) 0000244965 CONTROL RETURN which is £36.85 but as Jon says you may find it cheaper at a breaker's yard.
   
   1) is £53.35 by the way.

    Ah brilliant thanks! I rang a few yesterday but they just said they didnt have any :/ I dont wanna buy aftermarket ones from Ebay because you normally pay through the nose for it being "chromed" and they normally have poor built quality. How does the control Return ball joint sit in part 2, is there a split pin or anything? Just would rather buy the whole lot if needs be! Thanks a million

    I got some gear linkages for sale, I bought two of them brand new from citroen dealers, will even send u the receipts if I find them, ill give u all 3 for £25

    No split pins or anything it just sits in 1) loose. I found doing a clutch over the weekend, that once the gear linkage rods 4) & 5) in the diagram are popped off the gearbox using a pair of long nosed pliers / flat bladed scredriver to lever them off then 1) will come off 2) really easily. In your case you only need to remove the two 4)s.
