Hids

   Hi guys
   
   got my hids in but got a couple quick questions...
   
   They aren't amazingly bright like I expected, so did I do something wrong? Should I have taken off the little cardboard things in the lights?
   And are the bulbs ment to be 'able' to shake (bumpy roads with full beams on) they shake slightly as I noticed before I put them in they shook about in the holder..
   
   When I first flick my lights on they flash up really bright then go back to normal which is hardly brighter than standards, bit dissapointed as I expected to be flashed a lot while they were on but not had one yet!

   H4 hi/low as in that thread, can't remember the k, the white one!

   make sure wires are all connected and not sparking. could cause them to flash

   they only flash when i first flick them on

   All HID's flash when you turn them on, due to the gas inside lighting for the first time (apparently)
   
   As for why they are dim, check inside the ballast units where the plugs connect for any white residue or anything, as mine were buggered and made mine dim
