#8is the Janspeed a mild steel manifold?
-
#9yeah i think it is, its the one on kam racing
-
#10I'd go stainless all the time personally - sod having to worry about it rusting with the british weather
-
#11piper for the quality every day
-
#15Definitely !Quote:currently rolling on mild steel...
and looking at stainless now lol.
My stainless exhaust is probably easily 5 years old, and looks as good as the day it was made (allbeit with some colouring due to heat) - same affair with my piper manifold.
I know that a mild steel system would be rusting.
Had a superspring centre section for a little while back, after 6 months the coating was peeling off - so got rid of it and went stainless.
If people keep their cars for 1/2years then mild steel will be fine - but if you plan on holding onto it for a while then stainless will pay for itself easily ! -
#16piper are well good, loads of people rave bout them in c2 world
-
#17my mild steel mani is 2nd hand...
and about 5yrs old...
lol.
but reading through JP saxo's thread, he had his snap on him. -
#19Shurely you could pick up a decent 2nd hand decat pipe for £40> which means you can get the piper
