Car Runs Perfectly But ECU Light Is On HELP

    right basicly went down to local petrol station to fill her up with petrol get home leave the car idling for like 2 minutes and the bloody ECU light comes on

    BUT she is running perfectly normal. Ive got the PAS, heater and rear demister problem though at the moment do you reckon its that causing it as i havnt botherd repairing it as i dont need any of um...

    can somone please advise i dont fancy paying to get a diagnostic done

    Disconnect your battery for a while. Overnight if you can.

    If the light is still on then get a diagnostic check done as it will be picking up something you aren't noticing.

    happened to me the other day, just disconnected the ecu for about an hour, and it went off.

    went to college the next day, done diaognostic's...nowt.

    just wondering i've got no Fan sensor could this be causing it ?

    light wont go off by disconnecting batt plug it in and get codes go from there if light has come on and stayed on it will be emission related though cat lambda etc

    well it went off earlier think it was an electrical problem with my headlights causing variation somwhere.

    Seems to be ok now.

    Still my fan decided to blow up on me today

    my saxo vtr has a rare issue which i aint never come across before, after ive indicated my ecu will carry on making that clicking sound then it will stop for a second then start again, same if i press the horn... does any1 know what could be causing this
