These cheap e-bay "dimma" style grills

    Are they any good? What's the fit on them like?

    Also, can you take the mesh off them?

    Nice one. i remember i paid that for a Dimma grill ages ago and i thought the fit was pretty toss!

    theyre exact size so there wouldn't be any reason to not fit

    Got one of ebay, had no problems with it and it looks great

    nowt wrong with them but might need to buy new screws if your ones are corroded.

    cant you just take the existing black inner out of your grille, then fill it with a sheet of mesh?? thats what i did with my mk1. far cheaper than buying a ready-made one. i might be wrong seems as this is mk2 but thought it was worth a mention. will look brilliant whatever guys. good luck

    I received mine today from ebay, i am very pleased with it! payed £25 posted from the USA which wasnt bad. Does look abit cheap though but im sure once its colour coded it will look the part! well worth the money imo

    D.I.Y it i think it looks better with the badge in the middle but still meshed round the badge that's just my opinion though

    I bought one as a quick fix as i'd lost the original grill. Ok for the money, they don't look too bad either. I didn't think it was an actual dimma grill because the ones on ebay are only half the cost. So i asked on here if anyone had a link for a proper dimma grill and someone posted a link to the ebay one.

    Does anyone have a picture of an actual dimma grill?
