Why is my 2002 VTR Saxo different? I have the square 8mm socket for the oil sump plug and have used it last week to change the oil. It says 8mm on it as well so it's 8mm. It doesn't fit non of the two gearbox plugs... Why is mine different? I tried them both and it's too big. The only thing I haven't tried is to whack it with a hammer. Anyone knows if there are two types? Should I buy a 7mm and see if that is too loose? My plugs seem good and they are dirt free. Don't look like they've been abused...

They get full of shit so a 8mm won't fit. Give it a clean out with a screw driver

It's a very tight 8mm. Managed to whack it in with a hammer. Thank you very much! I wouldn't have insisted without knowing for sure that it's an 8mm.
