Alternator belt

   can you buy uprated alternator belts all my saxos/106s keep snapping them ive checked them all when buying all seem tight but not to tight just keep snapping

   you over tentioning them?

   Something is out of aligbnment, you should not need an uprated belt (if they even make them). Look down at the alternator pully and the bottom pulley on the crankshaft. Should be dead straight. If not then alternator bracket might be bent or the wrong alternator has been fitted perhaps.
