My remote locking fob has died :(

I have remote locking on my 1.1 with the fob, however i believe its ran out of battery. Is there any cheaper way of fixing it rather than taking it to citroen and being charged an arm and a leg?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi,

Just change the CR 1620 (3V) button cell yourself, then follow the steps in: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=228926

No you have to take it to citreon mate.... These other people above, know nothing.. Citroen have a special tool that only they own, Which opens your fob like pandoras box.

Then they have specialist Citroen batteries that are sacred in this world we call earth. Its a big job, They will charge you a hefty sum. Make sure you get many quotes. I was charge 295.75 + VAT. Thieves i tell you !

OJ, Just take it to the corner shop init !
