headgasket or.....?

   so very recently my furio has been running very rough. worse than normal... u drive for a few mintes and the temp guage will go right up the temp light will come on so will the fan... still seems to drive and water is beeing held in bottle, just wont seem to go past the thermostat.
   
   any ideas?

   Have you changed the thermostat? If the coolant levels are fine then there are a few headgasket failure checks:
   
   1) yellowish mayo substance in the underside of the oil filler cap = coolant in oil
   2) Whitish smoke = coolant in exhaust
   3) Coolant boiling, excessive pressure and coolant escaping through the top of the coolant filler / radiator cap.

   Mine wouldn't go through the thermostat, so drilled a hole in it and that fixed it, but about 2 weeks later the actual head gasket went anyway

   Get a compression check done too
   
   just sounds like your thermostat is buggered - get a new one fitted asap
   
   lol at drilling a hole in it - would have arguably been better to just remove it if you couldn't buy a new one.
