Mk2 VTR seats repair..

   Had a smoker in the back of my car, left his fag lit and left it on the rear seat. Burnt a 1 inch wide hole in my seats.. Would it be possible to re-trim the middle part of the rear seat and put a new bit of material on this?

   gonna sound weird but my local whale wash does cig burn repairs and they look dam good. filed my mates corsa seats loads of massive holes was cheap too. uses some weird foam stuff

   Yea, professionally. You have to unstictch the pieceout of the seat cover and restitch another piece back in. Obviously you need to remove the seat cover first.

   for the one i mentioned cheap like fiver a hole. for proper professional job prob cheaper for new bench?
