Kam racing stated that if i buy this one http://www.kamracing.co.uk/index.php...l?options=cart, It will need some alterations may be needed to successfully fit your car! does any one know what needs to be done to fit properly?

A few people cut down two of the studs to make tightening the nuts a bit easier - bottom line of studs, second ones in from the left and right. Mine fitted without altering any studs though. Best way I found was to just slide it onto the studs (not all the way up to the head), then start tighening the nuts bit by bit, slowly pushing the manifold towards the head.

The gearbox bracket is hit or miss - sometimes fits, sometimes doesn't. If it doesn't, hacksaw it off - not really needed.

think il be going for the kam system was going to get the sax sport but people on here talk so high of the kam sport, they also seem to have a good reputation on the parts they sell,

that one keeps the car road legal as it doesn't replace the cat.

Go for the full race system if thats not an issue

Quite possible to fit yourself. Jack up on one side and secure with an axle stand for safety

Should give you enough room to squirm around underneath

ignoring the backbox for a moment - the main differences are the centrepipes.

The only cat back ones on offer are the ones made by supersprint.

The manifold back (race system) has 2 options .. the supersprint race which is made of alumised steel and is painted black.. or our new centre pipe which is made of inox stainless steel (and is lighter)

In a nutshell then the new kam system will decat your car.
