Vibrating Brake Pedal

  1. #1
Don't remember if i posted this if i did sorry,

anyways the problem is i had an mot failure and had the brake shoes replaced ever since then the cars brake pedal is vibrating when i brake from over 40mph onces down to 30mph there is no vibration.

I took it back to the garage 3 times, once to replace the shoes, next time they tightened the handbrake soo much the brakes were on as driving and third time the brakes are fixed but i still get the vibration.

I really dont want to take it back there so any ideas on how i can fix this or can i just leave it? It is on the rear drums most likely the drivers side as thats the one that was ''recording no effort''

    thanks for any help

It isnt discs/pads at the front, got brand new ones last year and there was no vibration before the mot so they couldnt of become warped over night when i lift the handbrake a bit i feel the vibration on the handbrake lever. so it is definatly from the back

That's strange cus a drum shouldn't be able to wobble because of it's design. Unless one of your wheels is buckled you haven't hit ne curb or anything have you.
I'd get your wheels rebalanced see if that works think it's about three quid a wheel or summin

Or maybe the garage hasn't installed the pads quite right and they're lose. I'd have a look myself if I wad u.
