FAO people with badboy /smoothed bonnets

   How do you open the bonnet safety catch? talking about mk1's here but i suppose its the same problem for smooth mk2 bonnet owners. A little dodgy only having the 1 inside lever, is there any other way except bonnet pins route, thanks

   Im sure you would need to remove it or fit pins, but saxo bonnets tend to flip open so its a dodgey one really lol

   any tips on how to extend the catch? just attach something to the lever so its longer?

   mine just has an extended standard bonnet catch just like a nut n bolt in it with a T shape on the end

   I gt a smoothed firbreglass bonnet for mk2, no catch on that, just pull the lever inside and it opens. Nothing bad has happened so far ie flying open etc.

    Atm i'm just rocking with bonnet pins on my new one.

    removed and replaced with a bonnet pin as a secondary catch

    Mine you could get your hand up under to reach the standard catch.
    But now I'veremoved it and fitted pins

    andy-k just the man. my badboy bonnet will look quite like yours. so its not a big issue with the catch then and you can still reach it?
