Rear bushes

   Been told today by mr tyre that my rear bushes passenger side needs changing i thought it was one of my bearings gone but they told me its the bushes and that i will need a whole new rear axle.
   
   was wondering what your guys advise is?
   
   What should i do?
   How much for a refurbished rear axle?
   how much for labour?
   cant i just change bushes?

   Beam Mounts are replaceable, only like £40 for all 4.
   
   Damper bushes are not replacable and therefore new dampers.
   
   If the beam i fked then £250 in exchange for a reconditioned one from 'IM Axles'
   
   Id take it to a garage to get a proper diognosis, tyre places usually dont know what theyre talking about.

   so i could replace the bushes with the beam mounts? or wouldnt that solve the problem?>

   Well the only bushes on the rear beam area is on the dampers.
   
   I dont understand why he would say the whole beam is fucked if its just the mount. Which is why im sayin go to a proper garage for a diognosis before you waste your money.
   
   A common problem is the bearings and stub pins wear out on axles which is more costly and IS a whole rear beam refurb jobbie.
   
   If you know the area hes onabout then get a pic..

   Whole rear beam then in that case, IM axles on here. £250 when you give them your fucked axle and £18 postage and collection on the new and old one.
   
   They charge £80 for fitting and based in Liecestershire.

   So realisticly looking at £348 and a drive to Liecester Ben It isn't to far to Liecester from us neither.

   Straight down the A46 if your at lincoln, takes about 30mins

    Also its more nottingham, just classed as leicester on the map.
    
    Check out the A46/A52 Bingham/Saxondale junction as its 5mins/1 road from there.

    They will give you £2 from your £20 to have your old shitty one collected and the new one delivered.

    They can collect it but will cost you, as theyll use a low load pick up recovery type truck.

    oh well its alot safer then driving it? isnt it possible that wheell may fall off?

    Im not gonna advise you to drive it on the road couse if you do then crash lol
    
    Alot of poeple drive them like this and dont even realise. I had one before and it lasted a good while untill i scrapped it.

    lol so its not common for the wheel to fall off then? am not driving it atm riving my mums car untill its fixed i would drive it too the garage if needed but if even thats too risky then id get them to pick it up

    Never heard of any wheels falling off before! Its not very likley that would happen at all. Id personally drive it.
