Important! : fitting cams

   iv got a mk1 vtr and i bought a cam from a friend. will i have to reset the tappets when fitting the new cam or would it just be a matter of replacing the cam itself?? HELP and if i do need to reset the tappets dose any1 know valve clearances???????

   With my kent PT40 cam the valve clearance changed from 0.2mm inlet and 0.2mm for exhaust, it depends on the lift/duration of your cam

   bear in mind on vtr its head off as head bolts are cam bolts so head gasket needed

   The tappet settings will be on the cam spec sheet - they'll need adjusted to those.

   what torque for the head bolts?
