paint the rafters of the grille

   I do not know if I post the right place but I'd like to know how to remove the "chrome" chevrons of the grille and then paint.

   the chevs unclip theres two clips one either side about middle of the arm on the outside. if your careful you can just unclip them with screw driver

   made by my question and what to do to keep the paint on the rafters that its "chrome"

   just rub down the chrome with 400 or 600 grit paper paint should stick fine then
