   1.4 8v head on vtr bottom end ?, surely the vtr head is better than the 1.4 head.

   The 180 will be quick.. My mate has a GTI 138 and that is quicker than VTRs easily so a 180 would leave it for dust

   180s are shit,end of! My brother used to have a vtr bottom end,big valve head and a cam in his S1 rallye and it was rampant so this guy isnt bullshiting that much..

   Yes but VTR's are 98bhp and the car in question is approx 130bhp and lighter than a vtr.

   if its an xsi head on a vtr motor with a camshaft 140 is only slightly optimistic tbh
   
   if its a westy head then not much over 115-120 but it would be very quick s1 106s are light

    heres one to laugh at. hes claimin his vts is 150bhp with the following:
    4 branch manifold
    supersprint centre section
    scorpion back box
    simoto forced induciton
    
    id say giving the year of it, it would be lucky to see 130bhp

    Bad example, fat isn't directly relative to weight etc. Usaine Bolt weights just shy of 15 stone.. so more than the average man. /uFail
