squeek from the rear

   i got a kind of knocking noise when i hit bumps on the rear of my car and squeeks a little too anyone know what it may be?

   most likley to be the arb, the bolts could be loose tried tightening them ? mine allwas make a loud clunk over big bumps and mines all fine so.......

   Last time i heard that noise my rear shoes needed replacing

   you mean the torsion bar bolt or the one on the plates?

   torsion ones usually are rusted in mate its a torx 40 i think for them, the other one is about a 13mm blots on the plate and its them ones you should check, dont tighten them to hard though as they will just snap. if they are loose take them out and use some lock thread and tighten them back up hope this helps ?
