Bending Mk2 PAS pipe

    Right so my cars down about 70mm now and the PAS pipe was constantly rubbing on the Track Rod, so ive bent the PAS pipe up as ive read, but i cant really get much bend out of it at all, it seems VERY solid. Ive had the in;et manifold etc off for easy acsess and for now it seems to be far enough away. However my car is going to be going lower and i dont think i can really bend the pipe anymore, how exactly have people bent theres?

    You've probably done this, however you could heat it up and try bending it ? This should stop it from kinking when bending if thats what your scared of ? Its easy to get of if you jack the drivers side up, took me about 10 min at the most.

    I havnt tried heating it actually as i was doing it at home no work but popping down to the garage in abit so may give it a light heating, im not worried about kinking it just dosent seem to bend, the track arm just bends as i leaver on it, had a huge prize bar on it and wouldnt budge lol.

    heat but be carefull too much and it will kink a lot easier

    try filling it with sand then gently tap it with a mallet where you want it bending we use this method at work with small pipes
