hi guys ive been looking into future plans off possibly turboing my vtr, its a good solid engine and only done 51 thou miles i maintain it very well. now i was thinking of going down a different route to the "Put a vts engine in", and wanted to know peoples input of the cituning stage 1 turbo setup, is it good value for money and what are the outputs like? very noticeable and worth while or not? Thanks Lee

#2stage 1 comes with a 6psi actuator, no intercooler by the looks of things and you'll ideally still want management. so you'll have to budget a lot more money than the price of the kit!
6psi will be good, but you will want more and it doesn't give scope to get more without spending more money again. -
#3£3000 including fitting for 30-40 BHP !! Seems expensive that like ?!

#4yeah i know its expensive but its different... everyone seems to be going down the vts route... minimum of 30-40bhp that is whats stated... i think im going to look into it alot more before deciding thats definitely the route im going to go down..

#5to add to this, you'll only be slightly quicker than a cammed vts so, good value? not imo. but its horses for courses i could have spent the money i did on mine on an r32 gtr, evo, scooby etc and had a much quicker car but i didn't. i regret it a bit now though!

if you want to spend the money on your vtr, go for it, just make sure you will be happy with it otherwise it be money down the drain. -
#6Vts in then turbo it. As maddison has said, after the cituning kit fitted, you will still need to source management and injectors. Its a never ending stream of money so i hope you have a good job
.. Cituning imo are dog poo. No customer relations at all. Just ''heres the car, thanks for your money'' kind of thing. Luthor1 is putting together a kit. Have a flick through that in the datashift affiliate section. I would highly reccomend Andy and his work. Top bloke.
