  1. #1
i been looking around for injectors for my 106 gti as i am going to turbo it later this year

what injectors will fit my rail? like would evo injectors fit or something like that?
  2. #2
Ideally pico injectors would just fit straight in

iwp069 injectors are around 490cc@3Bar from memory

with the power you were saying you want, like raunchz said, pico 490cc injectors. gmc supply them for about £300 inc vat iirc

thanks for the link mate, just clicked it and doesnt seem to be working atm? will try it again later

do you know what power yours is running ben?
  6. #6
Doesn't 490cc give a lot of additional room for increasing the power at a later date as it won't be near the injectors maximum duty cycle?

By the way mate, whilst you are researching/building this/asking 101 questions but this book. It and the four-stroke performance tuning book is awsome and well worth the read. It will no doubt answer a few of your questions too.

    +1

that's why I went with an Innovate LC-1 from the UK, didn't want to buy one from the States, for it to take a while to come, and then risk getting hit with more costs + can get after-sales service with a UK company by just giving them a call

dude i got my LC=1 from the states and it only took 3 days to come, and if they put it as a sample it shouldnt be hit with a import charge, but it not 100% you will not though still,

i must of been luck, as it was very fast delivery and not extra charges.

how much did the LC-1 cost from the states ?

lol, that's a bit dodgy with the import charge thing
  15. #15
i got mine for 170 dollars but also got a guage with that kit,

but put it down as a sample kit, so most the time it over looked and so there no import charge.

the exchange rates was different this time last year, so unsure of what it was in pounds be about 120 quidish i guess.

Also interested in LC-1 cost from the states lol, i might have broken mine

EDIT: too slow, but i think thats cheaper than i paid without a guage anyways!
  18. #18
i tihnk the cheap at the time with a guage was about 200 notes. that why i did it that way.

So the clio sport injectors weren't that much bigger - if you ran 4Bar with the vts injectors then you'd be around the same cc as the clio ones at 3Bar.

I tried some gti6 injectors with my Jenvey's and Andy thought they were far too big for my setup so went back to vts injectors. They are meant to be around 285cc from reading over on the gti6 forum.

i have a 3.5 bar and the 244 cc injectors

on the 3.5 bar one and the standard vts was at 96% duty, so will help me, but they where down on what they meant to be

but should be okish i guess.

The clio 172 injectors will be ok if your not looking at big BHP
If you are looking for big BHP go for the pico 496cc injectors

Or above. The iwp069's are not big enough for BIG power (depending on your definition of big, obviously - my definition being over 250bhp atw).

i have some brand new 255cc injectors forsale
