bump strips

   i want to spray my bump strips and was wondering whats the best way to do while there still on the car?

   Wrong section buddy.
   
   But cover the areas you don't want sprayed and mask the strips off.
   
   Then rub down with a sand paper and spray.

   I'd start by masking off all surrounding areas pretty well to avoid any scratching and paint overspray.
   
   Then sand with a grade 600 Wet & Dry paper.
   
   Finish with a 1200 Wet & Dry paper to give a smoother finish.
   
   Coat of primer. Leave 30 minutes.
   
   Quick once over with 1200 wet & dry
   
   Coat of primer. Leave 30 minutes.
   
   Quick once over with 1200 wet & dry
   
   Coat of primer. Leave 30 minutes.
   
   Quick once over with 1200 wet & dry
   
   Wait 24 hours.
   
   Coat of Black gloss leave 15 minutes
   
   Coat of Black gloss leave 15 minutes
   
   Coat of Black gloss leave 15 minutes
   
   Coat of lacquer leave 15 minutes
   
   Coat of lacquer leave 15 minutes
   
   Coat of lacquer
   
   Remove Masking Tape
   
   Materials Needed
   
   600 Wet & Dry
   1200 Wet & Dry
   1 x 300ml can grey Plastic Primer
   1 x 300ml can Gloss Black
   1 x 300ml can Lacquer
   Masking tape

   its a lot of hassle but take them off for a top job i done mine was a lot off work but worth it in the end
