Why does my brake disk keep warping?

  1. #1
On my White Vts i had to have 3 new brake disks on the front left wheel and he replaced the caliper the third time.
I run it on 306gti disks, and dont hammer the brakes all the time or anything like that, he told me its because i give the brakes too much abuse but thats b*****s i never do, the disk just slowly warpsand then have to get it changed every 6 months.
The annoying thing its happened again even with the new caliper on, but its only ever that one wheel. What makes the caliper warp the brake disk???
So i can tell him to sort it out so id doesnt happen again!

p.s. Is this a common problem with 306 brakes?

Could be a stuck caliper piston causing the pad to to be constantly in contact under pressure, warping the disc ?

That sounds right mate yeh, how do i go about getting a new piston? Big job?

Take the piston out and grease it up, make sure it can move its full stoke
