Question about refurbing alloys

   Hi just a quick question about my alloys. I'm currently refurbing them and at the sanding stage which seems to be taking ages. Anyway on one of the alloys the outside rim seems as if the metal has been scraped off some how do i just need to sand this to get it smooth. Is this how i'm meant to do round the outside of the alloy.

   ye just sand it down til its smooth or use abit of metal filler on it and then smooth that down

   ok thanks mate hopefully i wont need metal filler don't need more expense.
