missing brake parts

ive got a set of 266mm 206 gti brakes im refurbing for my track car, however one of the bolt on each if the calipers is missing,

its the one that bolts the carrier to the caliper.

any idea where i can get them from?

didnt think they would keep shit like that, normally one of those, "o we dont stock those"

will give it a go, cheers mate.

you sometimes get them free with new pads if you buy good quality not cheapest crap

Aye, you get bolts with Mintex pads for the 283mm calipers.

Pity not with the 266mm ones, but I assume they fit.

Rounded end pads or square ones? This is important. Older BOSCH calipers only have 1 bolt to begin with.

    round ended i think.

as they are both missing the bolts i think you may be right.

In that case one side will be bolted to the carrier, the other side will just have a pin that it can pivot on for pad changes etc.

If it's got rounded end pads then it's this type of caliper.

its a bosch 54 type caliper if that helps

Both types are, if you get a pic though unfortunetely I'm enough of a geek to be able to tell the difference lol

hi matey, sorry this took a while,

can someone tell me if this type of brake pad fit a calliper with 2 bolts from the calliper to the carrier

Yeah they're the same as mine - the later type and will need 2 bolts.

I'm sure Pug will be able to help you out. I'll try and find you a reg plate to use...
