Rear Brake Pads worth the upgrade?

   Need some new rear brake pads for my GTi is it worth uprating them to Mintex M1144' s

   car is mostly used for fast road and occasional track use. what would people recomend?

   Dpends what you have up front.
   I tend to stick to the same at both ends

   The OE spec is appealing to me as the rear does so little braking and the M1144's add up to £50 with postage!

   Got brembo's off 406 V6's on the front with standard pads
