Strange noise from engine bay

   Hey all,
   
   Got a weird problem which has started today, when turning off the engine I get a strange noise from the area in the picture below. Happens after around 10 secs of me turning it off and I can hear it in the car. I have no idea what this could be? Hard to describe the sound but can get a video if anyone needs it. It sound's like a pump that's dying.

   any chance you could record the sound? my car makes an odd noise after turning off, and i know that it has a faulty idle control valve which as far as im aware adjusts itself to a set position when the engine is turned off, and it also makes an electric arcing sound when turned off, this noise goes on for a few mins. post a recording and ill see if it sounds like any of these

   hmm just had another read of your post and the noises i described cant be heard in the car

   mine does it im sure its normal like some pump or somthing re circulating or somthing like fule pump

   You can still hear it when the door is closed mate, it's a weird one!

   Mine does like a weird clicking noise every now and then when I turn off. Just for a few seconds. Not every time though. Been doing it for years. Never caused a problem for me.
