another central locking question...sorry

   hello all just bought a saxo 1.5 diesel. it doesnt have any central locking. i was wondering if i got a set of the central locking mechanisms from a scrap yard what else would i need. where do the mechanisms wires go to?

   if i was you mate i wouldn't piss around in the scrappy for somethin like that. get some from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/REMOTE-CENTRAL...#ht_1292wt_911 these will be plenty good enough but i aint sure about fitting but cant be too hard. and i would imagine the little mechs would go inside the doors cards, and 1 more thing, why have u got a diesel? lol nice to be different

   i just thought using original citreon parts would be easier as ive heard the ebay kits can be abit weak and problematic......ive got a diesel as its my works car. i have a mk 4 astra gsi turbo for best
   
   Where do the orignial citreon mechanisms wire too?

   they wire to a main control unit in on the passenger side

   main control unit.. where does this wire to i assume a 12v permanant live?? does it need programming or anything? im not after remote centraql locking just central locking for now

   there are about 12 wires going to the unit. you will need a haynes manual yo tell you what they all do as i think some are alarm related. but as said fit a universal kit would probably be just as easy. its what i have on my car.
