Radiator Question

  1. #1
I have a 2002 plate mk2 saxo vtr & have a radiator leak. Was wondering if a radiator designed for a 2003 plate saxo would fit??

    Yes it would.

They are the same shape, model and size - just a year younger. Maybe make sure that the radiator is coming from another mk2 VTR though.

Would it make a differance if it's not from a mk2 vtr??

what sort of leak mate? Is it visibly leaking coolant due to corrosion or something? Could be something much more sinister in the engine, e.g. head gasket failure etc

It's a pea sized hole in the radiator mate, can see the thing pissing water all over. Just bought a new one for £30 which I don't thinks too bad so all i've got to do now is figure out how to fit it!!!

£30 thats a nice deal mate, providing its off the same model etc. it should be a straight swap but pug/citroen did have some parts bin specials in the past. Really incoherent parts changes and stuff like that providing the hose positions are in the same places you'll be fine

Everything looks the same so i'm hoping for a fast, hassle free change over. The radiator dimensions are all the same so fingers crossed.
