cheap lap timer / data logger

   I am looking for a birthday gift for my farther and was thinking of some timing gear. Are there any cheap ish lap timers / data loggers that work ok out there? £500 tops though even less would be nice. Not looking for to much but speed graph and lap splits would be nice. It's to go in a mk2 MR2 running stock ECU so if it could plug in to that to give a little engine telemtry that would be great but think it may cost to much.

   Check out Race Technology
   
   They are a UK based company and cater for the people that want a lot of functionality, but not a massive price tag!
   
   We use one of their loggers at Uni and its good. The software for it is free.
