Sanding the edge on alloy

   Hi when sanding then around the edge do i need to sand it untill its really smooth ? the outside edge is quite bad though alot of marks very rough. Do i just keep sanding it untill they've gone. Will sanding it 2 much take the metal away or don't i need to worry about this.

   if your painting mate then use normal car bodyfiller, rubbing down the metal would take fooking ages lol

   fills in the gaps, then rub down till its all flush

   i always flat the metal and only use small amount of filler when needed
