wheel nut problem

   right i have a major problem i put a new cable tie round my cv boot and when i tightend the wheels back on i think i rounded one of them off lol. does anyone know a way i can get the wheel nut out?

   Try taking all the other 3 wheel nuts off just leaving that one in. Then get some one to pull on the wheel then you get a socket on the nut and slowly take off. its worked for me before. Hope this helps

   Hi,
   
   If that doesn't work you could try knocking an 18mm socket onto the bolt.

   If u take it to an alloy shop or wheel specialist they have a gun that just practically rips them out with no damage to your wheels wont cost much either my mate had it done on his rover.

   ^^ That's a good idea too. A set of locking wheel nut removers may help.

    You will need an impact air gun or an electric gun to use these - no chance without.
