Jerking

   Hi there ppl,
   
   ive recently (2500miles) had a cam belt and clutch change in my VTS but lately im getting a lot of jerking when i put it in 5th gear more so when its cold. at always happens around 1.5k - 2.5k rpm.
   
   ALSO when cold when in reverse i get exhaust rattle
   
   ANY IDEAS????
   
   i first thought would be that the engine is moving around alot, but i might be wrong

   check all your engine mounts...........

   try and shake the engine, moving the engine with your hands. Check the condition of the mounts if the rubber has split or looks worn, replace.

   does sound like engine mounts to be honest.
