    I may be stupid, but my uncle said i may not pass my M.O.T with a Sportex back box... its got a 3" tip... Any ideas?

    I think he is referring to the noise level of it. If its over a prescribed decibel level then it should fail.

    if it's over 98DB IIRC ... you'll be fine with that one mate... trust.. unless you got like basicly straight through with a 4.5 inch tip you should be okay, i know my ashley only got loud when booting it anyway and they bring up the revs slowly in a Emissions tests
