engine management light

   sometimes on my vtr early silvertop wen i boot it the engine management light flashes and the car sort of goes-holds back for a split sec then goes agen. also wen i disconnect the battery the light goes off. any1 got any ides?? i fink it might b the MAF sensor but i dunno??

   lambda sensor could be one to point. Or as you suggested MAF sensor

   Hi,
   
   The engine warning light flashing normally means that an engine mis-fire has happened. Your ECU can tell that a spark has not ignited the fuel.
   
   Could be plugs, coil pack or fuel supply related.

   MAP sensor imo. Remove it and give it a clean with carb cleaner or similar.
