Knocking, and ideas?

   Hi, the last couple of days I've noticed a knocking that is coming from the engine. When i push down on the accelerator there is no knocking, but when i lift my foot slightly so that I'm cruising the knocking begins, I've had a quick look under the bonnet but can't find anything that shouldn't be loose or out of place. Any ideas on what it could be?

   Where's the knocking coming from?
   
   Could be a variety of things, if unsure then a garage could diagnose it
