   Heloo i was just wondering if i could put a mk2 cat on a mk1??

   the cat is in the manifold.
   mk2 take mk1 system so can't see why not. but could be well wrong

   nope, the Manifold won't go over the oil filter

   as u have mk1 u won;t need to move it tho. why i thought a mk2 would fit on

   okay slightly confused now .. basicly as you can see from my progress thread i have decatted it but want to put a cat back on but my old cat has been welded on to the center section so i wouldnt mind putting a mk2 one on it as they are in the manifold arnt they ??

   correct they are in the mani.
   mk2 mani needs to avoid the oil filter. which mk1s don;t have in the way, so i would assume if u got a full mk2 system and mani it would work?
   but i;m just guessing

    i have a mk2 center section to decat my car i think so if i was to get a mk2 cat i would be able to fit it ??
