Right was wondering if anyone could help me. My car seems to float about at the rear it does it under hard braking or country roads or even changing lanes on the motorway, the only way i can describe it is that the back feels unstable and feels like it is floating around. its has been lowered 40mm but it was doing it before it was lowered. My car is a 1999 vtr. if any one has had the same problem or has an idea of wat it could be any help would be great thanks.

#3it maybe that your rear axle could of gone i got the same problem when my axle bearings or bushes had gone just a sugestion could be that

#4Try jacking the back wheels of the ground and see if there is any play in the rear hub bearing and or the trailing arms e.t.c May also be worth un-bolting the bottom bolt of the rear dampers and seeing if they compress and extend correctly.
Hope this helps. -
