Fan not kicking it.

    Hey, changed rad and fan as rad was leaking and thought fan broke. But still no luck. Rads fine not leaking or anything, just the fan dont kick in. Left it to get upto 3/4 on the temp guage but still not working. Changed the themostat, the sensor in the rad and the fuse.

    Got any idea what could be wrong?

    What cars this on? irc mk2s have the fan controlled by the ECU but the mk1s are controlled jus by being triggere or somthing

    have you tried making a direct circuit to the battery? with different wires etc. tested for currents etc?

    havent tried the fan thing but im sure ive asked ben to do it before, not sure if he did.
    we think it could be the wiring as weve tried absolutely everything else and it doesnt leave much lol

    Could be thermostat, or any of the temp sensors.

    Mine does'nt kick in until quite late also about 3/4 its a 1 plug furio.

    Make sure theres coolant in their, and bleed properly if it persits and you think the temps are running to high maybe try a nissens rad or set up a switch to the fan as said above, Noddy made a guide on here, on how to wire it up.
