Weird juddering and lack of performance ??

    Hey guys, my sister has just got a mk1 1.1i,, it sounded like it had a misfire when she first got it but after plugging the leads right the way down that sorted out the issue, perfect. but now when it's driving it almost judders and then slows down, lacking performance aswell (even though it's a 1.1).. what could it be ? i was personally thinking coil pack or an issue with the fuel system ??

    try just unplugging the ecu first and leave it of for bout 20mins or so, so it resets itself! failing that juddering could be spark plug gaps need adjusting!

    don't you mean unplug the battery for 20 mins ?? if you unplug the ECU it can lock itself i thought ?? well it ran perfect before so it can't be the spark plug gaps
