coilovers on the rear

  1. #1
iv seen some coilovers advertised for the front AND rear for a saxo .. didnt think this was possible with a torsion bar?

can anyone explain this a bit more

heyre lieing, i bet theyre special tuning, vmaxx or somthing alike aint they.
  3. #3
its not possible as the saxo has a rear torsion bar

mutha*****s db sax -youre correct with your guesses!

Probably just a damper for the rear, same as in any coilover set.

Its completely possible, but not a bolt on kit. Its just a badly advertised kit most likely

I was thinking that. I know it wouldn't be that beneficial other than easier adjustment of spring rates and dampers. but nobody has converted to rear struts or double wishbones etc etc without doing a rear engine conversion. I know it would cost a lot, but it would be very different

There are quite a few out there with rear strut conversions. Admittedly it's more common on 205s, but there are Saxos/106s out there with struts. Mainly in racing/hillclimbing however.

what front coilovers you going for ?

DONT BUY VMAXX/RACELAND etc. if they are under around £300 brand new then leave them alone
