No oil light (tiny oil can)

   I have had a 16v conversion and i dont have the little oil can light in the dash light up, they normally come on when the ignition is turned on? What sensor would i check for this?

   is it not the red sensor at the front off the block?

   yeah and they same part number for both L3 and L4 engines
