help plz. -Suspension

   i want to lower my car 5 door mk1 saxo i want to lower it about 60mm do i need to get the dampers cut and resealed or something or well the spring just go straight on ? i only asked this because i asked the local garage near me and they said something along them lines . and i just wana check

   dampers cut????????? what the hell is the garage telling you. no way should you cut the dampers, but the oe ones will soon feck up if you lower it on oe dampers. best bet is to save and get new uprated dampers and then fit all together.

   well a 60mm spring fit on the standard strut or well i need to get a full kit or something ? ^^^^ i thought that was weird aswell about the damper . officly they are chatting s***

   Speaking from experience, don't bother lowering untill you've got new dampers. I took mine off and you could push the stantion in and it would stay in, on the road you could feel the suspension wasn't working quick enough and that was the reason for it.
