What tyres?

   Morning
   
   Looking at getting some new tyres soon, theyre for my 106 GTI rims so 185/55/14
   
   I do alot of miles like 500 a week.
   So what would be the best long lasting tyre for me?

   IIRC 106 Gti's are 14" with 185 55 14 - same as Vtr size.

   you dont really need a performance tyre then
   
   theres loads of decent tyres out there, take your pick, they all last a long time
   
   i do around 40k a year and have been using all sorts of tyres with no issues

   ive got a mate who does me deals on michelins so ive got them on nearly all cars in the household

   would you like to elaberate on that could you get me any deals on tyres? i could even come collect them if the price was right? wouldnt need them fitting either

   i can have a word with the fleet manager whether he can get that size
   
   we normally deal with vw's and audi's and the minimum size is normally 15"
   
   leave it with me

   ahh right okay well as i said i need 185 55 14.
